If you prefer to hand-wash your VW or Audi, don’t forget to clean your sunroof drains if your German import vehicle has them. Whether you are in a Volkswagen Atlas or Tiguan, a GTI or a Q5 or any other VW or Audi model and your vehicle comes with a sunroof, remember to regularly clean your sunroof drains. Over time, very small debris from trees, the air itself and even dirt can collect in the channels of your sunroof or the drains throughout your vehicle. These tiny particles congregate and if not cleaned out, they can cause water to back up and eventually it will create a water leak in your headliner or other places (trunk, foot well, etc).
