Many times you may not even know that you have a coolant leak. The underside of your import vehicle has (or should have) a shield that protects your engine and transmission from road debris. That shield “catches” fluid and it often leaks out of the back and onto the roadway as you are driving. Unless you monitor your coolant temperature gauge on the dash, you may have no idea that your antifreeze is low. Until the warning light comes on. IF IT COMES ON. Familiarize yourself with what your coolant overflow bulb looks like and how to tell if the level is low.
